This individual will be responsible for all aspects of real and personal property tax including annual personal property tax compliance, tax consulting/strategic planning, tax auditing/reverse audits, and tax accounting. As such, this individual will manage the annual tax compliance calendar and export, reconcile, and manage all data required to complete the annual personal property tax returns for all of the client’s operating companies. The Tax Manager will review and identify assessment reduction opportunities and execute action plans for real and personal property. The individual will represent and defend the operating companies through assigned duties to support property tax audits and complete the day to day work activities of the audit and consulting team. The position will also be responsible for month end journal entries, reconciliation for property tax file uploads, and accrual reserve and analysis.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual to become an extension of our client’s tax department. The successful candidate will have a BS/BA in Business, Accounting or Finance and must have a minimum of 7-10 years experience in Real and Personal Property Tax consulting and successful demonstration of key responsibilities mentioned above.
